I have an Ideal C30 boiler it has a filling loop. I cannot see an isolator valve to the cold feed.
I am refurbishing my kitchen, shall I add an isolator, thinking of adding a pegler full bore for the boiler cold feed so it is easier when
we change the boiler in the future.

Shall I add one or is it another thing that can go wrong and they will isolate the mains when they changed the boiler?
The reason i am asking is that I managed to drill through the cold feed trying to remove the old worktop and there is no way to isolate the boiler so until it gets fixed i need to have the mains water off.

Shall I just fix the leak and repair the pipe and do not add an isolator or shall i add an isolator as well?
