Hi,

I am in the process of installing a built in single electric oven and in my previous abode I had a small vent/grill installed in the kick plate underneath. They are only a couple of quid to buy but was just wondering if it was a necessity to have one or not?

Many thanks in advance.

I have moved this post to "Electric" as the electrician may know the answer.

does the oven have a big hole at the back or bottom that loks like an air intake or outlet? if so, it should have a vent. Read the instructions, it should tell you there.
