Hi. I need to swap out a faulty PIR on my Texecom Premier 24. Is it necessary (or best practice) to power it all down before doing so please? I've seen various threads on here that imply you don't need to.

Just trying to avoid the faff of holding the bell high and disconnecting multiple battery backups etc.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks very much secureiam.

All swapped out now, without powering down.

As a precaution, I taped up the 12V wire while I was working to avoid it touching stuff it shouldn't.
