That’s a very good point, she also mentions the 16-year-old girl that was killed by her father for refusing to wear the veil. The head of Islamia schools was quoted as saying in interview that you are born a Muslim, you are always a Muslim, and you cannot leave.
Some vicious cults may do, but how many other religions issue threats on your life if you try to leave.
You would think that if Islam is such a brilliant religion/political ideology that it supporters would be shouting from the hill tops about how good it and the Koran are and would be very keen to explain its peaceful philosophy.
Surely, they would want to talk about all those evil parts of the Koran and prove to us that those parts are nothing for non-Islamics to be concerned about.
Instead, they try to shutdown any reasoned conversations about their belief system.
Censorship is their second best friend, the reintroduction of blasphemy laws would be their best friend.
No, he's talking about the equally obnoxious and fanatical ones who decry any criticism as racism and islamophobia, both terms being inappropriate, false and misuse of the language employed for suppression of debate.
Islam, along with other religions, is clearly nonsense - thus, respecting people's right to follow it is also a fundamentally flawed philosophy.
Soon be the 6th of September; we shall find out how serious the Government is on tackling the problem.
I say root out these racists , that have blighted this green & pleasant land for far to long
