Door Handle Hollow Door

Hi,

My sons door handle has just fallen off, the door seems to be made of very cheap materials. Can anybody please help on how I can fix this, the screws are just spinning. Thanks

easiest is to fill the existing holes with matchsticks and wood glue, tightly packed.
Or a small piece of dowel.
Loads of wood glue and let it set properly before drilling new screw holes.

worst case drill through the door edge and insert a bit of timber.

Is he heavy handed?
Door sticks?
