I've just remounted a door that i had taken off the frame for sanding and repainting.
Unfortunately, the door won't close now, it took me a bit to understand why:

Two of the screws on the lower hinge aren't holding, it seems their holes have widened too much with too many remountings. When the door is closing those two pull free a few mm and the door leans, not good

it seems like the best idea would be to use wood filler and then drill new holes, but this means i will have to take the door off again, do that, sand it, and repaint it, a couple more hours work at least.

I could use thicker screws, but i don't have any

I have a very busy week ahead and not much more time to spend on this problem.
Can anyone recommend a quick and dirty solution that might take care of it?

Shove some bits of cocktail stick or matchstick in the holes, then use the original screws.

hmm, thats not a bad idea, if only i had some

I have until tomorrow night to get this sorted, and its just enough time to buy this and get it delivered

Would this do the job? It could certainly fit in the hole, i have a caulk gun

but i normally use High Performance wood filler which comes in two parts you manually mix. Is this stuff going to have enough strength to retain screws?

As has been said but I prefer bamboo bbq skewers cut down to about 2 inch and you can hammer them in after coating with wood glue. I can also recommend hingetite screws

i just spent 25 minutes attempting to stuff scraps of newspaper into the hole, no discernible effect :(

So you got no matchstick - bamboo skewer or cocktail stick ---- clearly you dont host many BBQs

A pencil sliced down the middle and whittle it down to a stick
