Our communal door way needs to be ripped out and a new one put in. Given the advice you've given I was wondering whether you could give an idea of time and cost.
The door way is not a std size. There are 2 doors side by side and each door has a glass pane flr to ceiling to its side (approx 200mm).
Like anchovy's door frame this one's rotten. Our neighbours and ourselves would like to replace the lot (i.e. new door frame, glass panels, new doors, etc.). Its a Victorian property so we'd like something in keeping with the type of property ... do you have any idea what something like this could cost and how long it should take.
