Hi first time post here..

Question, marley double romans have a min 75mm head lap, neighbours houses either side (terrace houses) are running at about 65-70mm headlap.. do i keep it looking right ascetically? Or set new tiles to recommended 75mm headlap and risk it looking obviously different?

Will it work courses to the ridge if you alter the gauge?

Do you want to use bonding gutters?

Are there problems caused by the current lap?

Current head lap is allowing some capillary when raining..but tiles are over 40yr old and very few breakages..

Could alter amount of courses needed if I go with 75mm headlap, but if there's a secret gutter that would cover that issue where joining neighbours it's just the visual aspect I guess..

Change the lap then. The colour difference will mask things a little
