Dover...

They had a referendum in Ireland if I recall on the marstricht treaty ??

It got voted down

eU were not happy as it effectively killed the treaty

They had to have another referendum :ROFLMAO:

EU democracy in action

Don’t like the answer so keep going till you get the answer you want :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Also in Denmark, where they had to rerun the referendum, i think.
European unity is not a bad idea, but nobody can seem to agree on just how it's meant to be done.

So what, economic cartels should be challenged head on.
the EU is not an economic cartel

of the 3 big global superpowers, EU, USA and China, which do you think is the least protectionist?

They'll bid the price up.

How will that affects Brits on minimum wage, or offered a 2% rise in 9% inflation?

Interesting how there are lots of comments saying how bad the EU is, but nobody yet has managed to identify a single tangible benefit of being out of it.

strange that. If it was that bad the advantages should be easily identified and being loudly shouted about. But then even the Government or the brexit supporting media can't point out any benefits.

I don't expect any brexi t supporter to change but surely you must question why you can't point out ANY actual benefits

It's become something of a pointless gesture because regardless of how many times I've posted the benefits, some idiot will come along and say no-one can post a single benefit.

The fact is, there are plenty, search my post history, they're all listed there.

Just because you want to believe there are benefits doesn’t make it true.

there are dozens of metrics that are demonstrable proof the UK is worse off since Brexit.

A little crown on beer glasses (like you always could)

Blue passports (like you always could)

Being allowed to sell things in inches and ounces if you want to (like people did when filly was a little boy)

Having to apply for a Visa if you want to go to France

Having to build things to meet EU standards if we want to export to our neighbours, but no longer having a voice on what those standards should be

Which benefit does filly think is the best one?
