Hi,
I'm going to rip my toilet ceiling down and fit a new ceiling with down lights. I want to do as much of the job myself as possible, for abit of experience and to save abit of money. My toilet is a room with 1 ceiling light and 1 switch. These questions might sound daft but here goes.
1) can some one please post a wiring diagram of how I wire 2 different light fittings from 1 set of wires, I've got a rough idea of how I would do it, but my way is properly the wrong way, I will also need to know what type of wire I will need to use.
2) the light fitting says it needs a 75mm cut out but screw fix only sell 76mm, an extra mm won't make that much a difference will it?
3) it says it's rated IP20, what's
Does this mean?
4) it says power voltage supply is 240v, this means I can connect it to the wires and don't need any transformers or anything?
5) it says it's 30, 60 and 90 mins fire rating, do what does this mean an do I still need the metal box above the fitting?
Thanks
Dan
