Down pipe

Good evening, I have some cast iron downpipe thats leaking, I’m having it replaced but it goes just underground into what looks like cement pipe what’s cracked and breaking away. Has anyone come across this pipe being asbestos before please?

No, it's just old fireclay pipe.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve given it a little wipe a bit further down and it looks the same brown/orange colour as far down as I dared to reach, was worried a spider could have made its home down there

All I can see is the female socket end of a traditional 4” salt glaze drain pipe.
