some lights that have been instaled in hallway ,i think you call em downlights,sunk into about a inch and half insulated plasterboard seem to be melting the insalation is there anything you can put round the fitting to stop this thanks,or any advice thanks

You should know the answer to this yourself shouldn't you?
I thought you were taking C&G 2392 and had bought a fluke 1651 for testing purposes.
Having seen the inane questions you have asked in the past, as a mid 40 year old are you really an electrician or just a windup merchant.
