Downstairs TAP!!!!! GGRRRRRR

Hi the hot kitchen tap is very very slow but all the other taps in the house are fine.

I seemed to fix itself then it went back to being dead slow, now takes half hour to fill kitchen sink up.

PLASE HELP!!!!!!

Unscrew the guts of the tap, go to B&Q & get a replacement, put the new one in & that will sort it. Total cost £2 + your petrol.

There is nothing wrong with the valve, it opens fully and closes.

What system have you got
Is it a combi or open vented?

it is combi,

1 boiler heats the rads and the hot water taps,

1 water storage heater in cupboard

Is your hot water supplied via the cylinder. If so suspect an airlock.

Surprised you have a combi as well as a cylinder

Perhaps the water is so hot it is evaporating as fast as it comes out.
