You don't need two DPMs, is this house built in a river?

The weight of concrete will push the dpm against the wall, as long as it meets the dpc you'll be alright with a mastic bead behind it.

lol yeah its not in a river but below the outside road level and always had a history of rising damp as it was my late grans house so i kind of want to make sure i fully solve the issue

Over or at the sill detail?

Remove the inner leaf of masonry courses, to below the insulation level. Close of the cavity (if there is one). Allow the membrane to travel into the opening recess and wrap up against the sill masonry and jambs. Insulation too. You might want to forfeit the perimeter insulation upstand against the sill masonry, or trim the height, as this can be an issue when fitting gripper rods later on. Concrete or screed right up to the back of the outside course.

Thanks for your help im trying to work out how you mean
the floor this comes into is not going to be all broken up and there is no insulation under it

In your case, you'll mortar cut slithers into the cavity.

Ahh that helps alot thanks so i need to take my inner course down more as at the moment i have a pocket or should i just fill it in ? Then i lap the dpm like this ?

Also ive just came to the kitchen area which was a build as a later add on on the house which also has had damp issues...

I see this has dpc fitted but it is one brick up from the ffl so i would presume the brick below is getting damp and has been bridging on the cavity..
