so this is where we are at. i added the inspection chamber for SVP and changed the storm gulley for the kitchen sink to go under extension. obviously angle etc will have to be worked out but it gives the basic idea.

i decided to put the ground toilet WC/sink storm straight into the chamber. if i go for a big chamber with plenty of inlet's it should work out.

Things have been on hold, but now back at it! With more questions!

Can anyone tell me whats the general go-to for combing sink waste and storm into one drain. As stated we have a combined system.

The sink will run outside like drawing above, i could get a rectangle roddale hopper gully and put the guttering downpipe into it, and the 40mm sink waste.

Or maybe BCO would prefer the downpipe going straight into an eblow with a reducer grommet, that will then feed into a back inlet gully that has a removable roddable bung, it doubles up as a p-trap. It is going into a branch under the slab so rodding is needed.

There would be no issues with foul smells to kitchen as it would be open to outside atmosphere.

The gully id use would be the osma 4d900

Stick them both in the top but sink them lower then the black grate piece.

If you wanted the downpipe going in separately you can add a back or side inlet to a 4D900.

Right so that will stop it splashing out i take it?

Shall i go with the square osma? I like it because its a bit of an all in one unit with high volume. If not theres some rodable rectange ones. Iv noticed not all rectange ones are a full grate.

Also will throw a splash guard around it

Yes that was what i was thinking. It has knock outs. Im thinking this would look better in the long run

Unless there is a good reason, you cant discharge rainwater into the foul.

This is true of modern developments where there are seperate systems, Most older properties are on combined systems. Whilst the B Reg "encourages" soakaways as the first option more often than not this is not practical, so in reality (or at least built up areas) most RW pipes are connected into the combined system on older properties.

Yes i agree i checked up on this as i was concerned they might force the soak away. But i have checked and as we are already a combined system its fine and we are not changing much of the system just renewing it all.
