Hi,
Tmrw I am going to drain off our central heating loop to put in an additional radiator.
We have an Ideal Isar Combi boiler and I have a couple of qustions
- Dumb Question:- the pressure is currently at 1,3 bar and if I drain it until the water stops i.e bar 0 can I safely assume there is no water left? I am going to cut the suppy and return pipes directly in the room above the boiler so I think the answer is yes.
- Once the Bar is at 0. Is there anything I should do with the combi bolier i.e simply turn it off? I am thinking not as the heating is currently turned off so it should be any reason for the pump to be pushing the water around.
thanks
Adam
