now turn you cyl stat to about 10 degrees and 6 should be dead and 7 live

good isolate your main switch so all is dead.
then remove grey from 6 and place in 7 with the two blues. so should be three wires in 7.

now take yellow from 6 place in 8.

turn stat back to 60 degrees and switch on and boiler and pumpshould run.

Done, Pump running and boiler lit

now turn your cylinder stat down till it clicks it should shut boiler and pump down.
if so then switch back to 60 and it will fire up again if so all ok.

just check when you turn off the programmer from hw water etc it all functions ok.

Thanks for all your help yesterday, CH fired up and everything seemed ok.... Left the water on last night, pump ran all night and tank cold this morning. Any ideas......

is the pipe from the valve to the cylinder hot and the bottom pipe cold?

Sorry, first chance I've had to look at it all pipes are cold

when you put hw only on and pump and boiler are running the pipe to the valve is hot then what pipes are hot after that ?

none of the pipes are hot, not even to the valve
