Drayton Wiser room thermostat blank screen

Got a Wiser system yesterday. All wired and working but I'm having a problem with the room thermostat.

It's connected to the system and the -/+ control the required temperature but I don't have any display. The Drayton FAQ states the screen might go blank whilst firmware upgrades take place (graphics download) but I've left it 24 hours now and still no display.

Called Wiser help and they went through a procedure to reconnect to system with no joy. They say to get it replaced from seller but I wondered whether anyone had any other suggestions?

The same issue, not sure what to do. Have you fixed it or got your kit replaced?
 
Are you aware that the screen is blank to save battery until you touch one of the buttons below the screen?

Thank you very much Pcaouolte , yes the thing is when i touch one of the buttons my boiler start working (i can hear that) and the temperature on my Wiser Home app start adjusting accordingly but thermostat's screen shows nothing. So strange. Maybe its a faulty thermostat screen. Drayton customer service team unfortunatelly are not very helpful - suggesting replacement. Will probably do that in the absence of any alternative ideas how to fix it.
