We have an old Aqualisa shower that has started dripping constantly since upgrading to a Combi boiler with higher water pressure.

I have read online that it is allegedly quite a simple DIY job and I can potentially a) change the cartridge (£120+) or b) remove the cartridge and replace the washers (£20 ish). Even the washer replacement seem expensive for what is provided - is there a list anywhere of the washer sizes required (and are these available outside one of the kits) please?

Online it suggests just pulling the knob off, but despite a little pressure mine does not budge and I have failed at the first hurdle. Can I check please, from the photo below is there a special technique for removing this type, what is the exact model of shower, and what cartridge or washer replacements would be required (so that I can order the right parts and then remove/replace in one go).

Thank you
