Hi,

How do a I fix this please? It's dripping once every 5 minutes. Thought about replacing the washer but the whole thing seems corroded. Would I need to swap for a bit of copper pipe with a new drain cock attached or could I use a bit of push fit pipe with a push fit end?

Thank you in advance

Show us a picture of yours.
Drain cocks don't come attached to pipes, they have to be fitted to your pipework .

Here's a pic. Thanks

You would need to connect a new drain cock to a short piece of pipe and replace it into the Tee.
If you clean off the gunge ,check that the leak isn't from higher up ( at the Tee) and dripping down onto the drain cock.

Thank you. Do I need copper pipe and copper drain cock or plastic pipe and copper drain cock please?

If you know how to solder , use copper pipe ( the drain cock is brass ,by the way) and a soldered coupler. If you don't, Use a compression coupler, copper pipe and brass drain cock.
If soldering ,remove the rubber seals from the drain cock prior to.

Oh yes, brass, if course. Thank you. Really appreciate the advice.
