Hello this tap is dripping a lot. There is obviously something loose inside the knobs but the screws holding the caps on are stuck fast.
Are ideas how I can remove them without scratching up the silver?

Hello this tap is dripping a lot. There is obviously something loose inside the knobs but the screws holding the caps on are stuck fast.

Ours were glued on for some reason. The screw came out ok but the knob wouldn't come off the spindle. Brute force and ignorance worked, I think I wrapped a crow bar in a tea towel.
What does it owe you?? Buy a new one for £35.

You can get two hole taps that aren't mono howh but are mixers
You need what's called a deck mixer tap, designed for 2 hole sinks
