Hi all.
Does anyone know if you can get a dual tariff consumer unit, yet still have twin RCD for 17th edition.

One main switch for the house supply (RCD ect).
Second main switch for economy 7 water/heating.

I found an old post i made in 2007 but now it is 17th edition thats out of date.

Many thanks in advance.

You can have two mainswitches and RCBOs.

Or two mainswitches and four RCDs. (two level board)

Considering the cost of RCDs / RCBOs, would it be cheaper (and less hassle should there be a minor fault / nuisance trip), to examine and rectify anything on the heating circuits that would cause it to have to be RCD protected? Thus negating the requirements for RCD protection.

It may be cost prohibitive if it has unprotected concealled cables <50mm from the surface.
