Earth wiring for new Electric Heater

Hi,

I am currently trying to install a new ......... (blyss wall - mounted panel heater 1500w (195jk) and I noticed that there was no earth cable for the new (heater).

Upon checking the manual again I saw that it says 'this product is double insulated and must not be earthed. If there are any incoming earth cables, they must be joined together using a suitable connector (not supplied)'.

I have no idea what a suitable connector would be and would like some advice on what I should purchase and how to install it.

I have enclosed some photos on the current wiring and new cables to better explain what I mean

In your case just swap the flex, the warning is where the earth is feeding some thing further down the line, which does need an earth, which is not a problem with what you have.

You don’t need a connector, install the new cable to switch, obviously no earth on appliance end, incoming earth to switch can remain, as it’s the incoming part and already connected.

The flex (flexible cable) is the cable from the radiator.
Remove the old and fit the new - just two wires in the new.

The incoming earth wire is the green and yellow wire coming from the wall.
Leave it where it is.

Yes, proceed as normal. The incoming earth is as per EfLImpudence:

Leave it where it is.

You have a Cable/feed in and Load.

Existing:
Cable in L-N-E
Load: L-N-E

New appliance (radiator/heater):

Cable in L-N-E
Load: L-N-No Earth

Hope this makes more sense?

Forgive me if I am a dunderhead -
Blue and brown wires for new radiator go in as expected in the same places. CBW - Earth wire from the socket can go and stay where it currently is?
Not sure why this is not dangerous regarding the Earth part?

There is no socket.
The cable coming out of the wall - to the switch - must be left connected as it is.

If you mean your radiator not having an earth wire is dangerous, then no.
Double insulated is considered safer than earthing.

Earthing is not a good thing in itself; it is a necessary evil.
