Earthing Set-up

None of the earths go to any of the electrical equipment in the photo (bar the MET). One comes in (maybe) and the other goes to the gas pipe. So on the grounds that there isn't an earthing conductor I'll err on the side of caution and say it ought to be isolated.
Good point. I'd been focussing on the question of where that conductor comes from, without paying enough attention to what (if anything!) it's connected to. I wonder if we're sure that the conductor to the gas pipe only goes to the gas pipe? Whatever else, we're certainly agreed that it needs checking out by an electrician.
