Earthing

Im in the middle of installing a new bathroom, and have just installed a steel bath, I havent opened up the floor - which I will do now, however from what I can see none of the copper pipework is earthed.

If when I lift the floor Im proved correct how do I earth all of the pipework and bath?

Can I connect into the earth on the lighting circuit or does the earth have to connect onto the Consumer Unit?

Does the earthing cable need to be a particular size?
