Easiest way to chase channel for pipes into this wall?

How come? That’s nasty, you don’t want to be disc cutting the board as it’s not good stuff to breathe in. Can’t you just take the boards off?

Old wood saw or multi tool. I also have a cordless bosch grinder with a dust extraction that I might be tempted to use if those where to slow.

Discovered ceiling joist is right where pipes would need to come up.
