Economy 7 clock wrong

I used to have A CB licence back in the day.
CB Radio could be very useful whilst travelling camping etc - long before mobile phones etc and knowing you could get help for emergencies during a countryside run or traffic info etc was brill, some great folk on there (and a few absolute Pilchards like you can get anywhere).

Had 4 I think, started VP8XBHZ, then VP8BKM, then English licence, added a W when I returned home, and then VR2ZEP. On return to UK my British licence was not valid, so started using CB, and oh how it changed area to area, Suffolk it was very like the ham band, Midlands it seemed to be an escort selection service, and North Wales mainly used by taxi's.

The PMR 466 took over a lot, and I still use them, but UK it was mainly Packet and RAYNET, never used HF in the UK, and I renew my UK licence, but not used in years. I am in a VHF black hole, and not going to buy HF gear.

I've had but the one, G3Sxx (although, way back, I occasionally used the variants GC3Sxx/P, GM3Sxx/P and GW3Sxx/P) - starting in 1963 (on my 14th birthday, the 'earliest possible'!), and continuous ever since (but literally decades since I made any use of it) :-)
