Hi,

I am tiling a worktop and it's looking pretty good, only problem is the front edge. What you get is a somewhat unsightly side view of a tile and the old worktop underneath - oh, and some adhesive for good measure.

what would you use to edge the front? doesn't seem to be much commercially available....maybe wood? or edging tape?

any other suggestions much appreciated!

cheers

thomas

I think I'd be looking at sticking a piece of timber on it. I'd get a piece of oak cut to the right size/profile from the timber merchants.

yep somthing like 9 or 12mm oak or pine with a 3 to 5mm chamfer top and bottom edge
