Edit stored program in my Accenta 8 mini

Hi... I am a bit of a newbie but here goes.
I moved into our house 17 years ago and inherited an Accenta 8 mini with a NON LCD remote key pad.
when we go to bed I key in my number and press prog 2.
this omits the landing par so we can plod about in the night upstairs
We are soon adding a puppy to our house , who will sleep in the kitchen.
I want to edit prog2 to include the kitchen from the omit list
Do I need to be in engineer mode to do this and what do I press

Yes you do need to be in engineering code, and here's the manual. But as the puppy will grow, and may not always be in the kitchen, then it might be better to upgrade the PIR's to pet friendly types. You could also add a keypad upstairs, then then set the alarm before you get into bed.
