EICR - ReWire recommended

I looked for tripping times at 30 mA and it seems this depends on the BS number of the RCD
The regulations state 300ms for BS61008-1/9-1.

I can't find anything in my copy of BS7671:2008 giving a time for disconnection at 30 mA only at 5 x 30 mA.
Table 3A, Page 318.

don't know where 400 mS comes from?
It is presumably the 0.4s usual required disconnection time which does not apply to RCDs for some reason.

What reg are you thinking of that says grommets must be installed?
You need to provide protection against abrasion. It mightn't be grommets - in a proper installation it will be a flanged coupler for the conduit protecting the singles entering the backbox.

What is the wording of the actual requirement?

And is abrasion the only thing that BS 7671 requires cables to be protected against?

I thought it also required them to be protected from things like heat, corrosion, damage from animals etc. How would you advise installing T/E into back boxes to guard against that sort of damage?
