Hi All,

I am having a problem with my ElectraTech control panel, where I am turning things on or have them scheduled to be on and they are not switching on in the Junction Box.

But if I boost the water for 60mins on the control panel it will turn on in the junction box.

All seemed fine before the weekend, but now it wont turn the heaters on or the socket for the washing machine which will cause a few problems!

Many Thanks

Oli

thanks jj but I have already seen that thread.

At the moment my control panel isn't beeping, it's just some of it isn't working. When I double press the number for my washing machine or my heater(s) they say that they are turned on, on the control panel, but it is not flicking the switch in the junction box.

But when I do it for the boost for the boiler it works.

I'm tempted to reset it, but at the moment the rest of the electrics seem fine in the flat, oven is working, fridge, other rooms, etc seem fine its just the heaters and the socket for the washing machine & tumble dryer.

If the heaters are off peak storage heaters they will not switch on until the "black box" gets the signal from the timeswitch, The washing machine circuit should be able to be manually operated though

The boost is designed to be switched at any time

well normally they switch on pretty instantaneously but maybe I am not leaving them on long enough to give it a proper chance to see if its working

Do you have storage heaters or panel heaters

Has the system been switched into holiday mode by accident, this disables all the circuits except the boost

Storage heaters I think.

It could've been switched to holiday mode, my new housemate went kind of mad on it when she moved in so she may have accidentally set something, how could I find out if it is on holiday mode and how would I get it back to normal?

Many Thanks

press Mode key should read "no mode set" if system is in normal mode, to cnacel holiday mode press clock then mode then 2 to cancel

thanks a lot everybody, I followed what crystal ball said and it was on 'summer mode' so I pressed the combination and its now back to normal and everything is working.

I appreciate everybodies fast replies, it's not often where you find people on a forum so helpful

thanks again

Oli
