Hello
I am building a metal stud wall to divide a room down into two spaces.
Most forums online recommend trying to use metal backboxes for the electrics - these seem to always focus on wood stud walls. Since I have no noggins to attach my backboxes to, my thought is to use plasterboard backboxes. I currently have the cables in place and poking out a hole in the board, my plan was to cut the hole out and mount the plasterboard backbox after skimming.
Do we think this is the best solution or is there a way of mounting a metal backbox to the metal framework?
Regards
