Are these systems powerful enough to service a 3 bed mid terraced house?
and are they expensive to run compared to oil or solid fuel?
I was hoping to go to oil but the installation cost is too much.

Yes if your electric supply is up to it. They come in modules, like 7kW, and you have as many as you need. 14kW would probably do you.

Best check online for energy costs.
Elements burn out - I wonder how long they last?
