electric meter

i'm sorry if this has already been asked/answered but i've looked and looked and looked ( there are 311961 articles you know(!!))
The question i have is, who do i have to get to move my electric meter, an electrician or the electric board? i need it moving about 6-7 feet, through a wall in to another room.

You also may need an electrician to extend/renew the tails to the consumer unit
