HI peeps - help needed
My girl wants to order a new oven online (hotpoint) but i'm conserned
about the power of it. We emailed the supplier to find out the wattage
and the blunt reply was 30amp. now my electronic knowledge has drifted since school but am I right in thinking that 230volt mains AC multiplied by 30amp = round about 7000(w) for the power or is that just bull. LOL
The old oven is plugged direct into a normal plug socket and I think its a 13amp fuse so my question is ¬ Will this big beefer 30 amp oven be ok to plug into a normal socket or does it need its own ring power.
Thanks for any help about this
