Can you please advise me on the following? GN3 page33 eg 1.67
if i have 4ohms divided by 2 x1.67 etc what is the correct calculation
I have looked in my bs 7671 to no avail

Read it again.

It's telling you that the end-to-end resistance of your phase and neutral conductors on a ring should read the same, but your cpc (if you are using 2.5/1.5 twin & earth) will read about 1.67 times greater.

For example, if r1 = 0.3 ohms, then rn should also be 0.3 ohms, but r2 should be 0.5 ohms.
