Yes, you can use a 2-way switch as 1-way. Just connect to the COM and L1 terminals, leaving L2 spare.

on this mk switch noting mark l1 l2 or com. how can i identiry.

The connections will probably be arranged in a triangle, with two terminals at one end, and one at the other. Choose two terminals, one from either end, and you should be fine. Without a photo or some idea of the markings on your switch, it's difficult to advise any further.

thanks for that . can you tell me which cable shoud connect to com and which colour should be with l1 terminal. red and black cables with earth cable is in my connection

so then it tells you which is 1 way and com..
use those
makes no odds what you put in which hole if it's only 1 way..

Makes no odds which way around.
Sleeve the black to show the cable is live and not a neutral.

yeah, that'll work..

convention is to put the red in the COM, but either way will work for 1 way.

Unless you think it was OK to use the point of a knife on the screws because you don't own a screwdriver, please get a multimeter if you ever intend doing anything with switches except flick them on and off.

Then you'll be able to use it to identify switch terminals.
