Hope someone can advise me how best to wire the new switch replacing the old one on the left (see photo).

This is a downstairs hall switch controlling lights one upstairs and one downstairs in the hall.

The new switch has COM and 1 Way & 2 Way ports.

The old switch has 1 (In) 2 and 3 (out).

Any assistance most welcome.

Cheers

1 = COM (the single hole at one end of the switch)
2 = 1 way ) the two holes at
3 = 2 way ) the other end of the switch

If the light is on when it's off and vice versa, swap 2 and 3.
