Electrical regulations and shaver points - advice please

Hi

My electrician has installed a shaver point in my new bathroom but has not put in an isolation switch outside in the landing. Is this required under the current UK electrical regulations?

Nope, an isolator is not required.

As long as it is a two-gang size & in Zone 2 or outside the zones, it is OK.

Or it could be the one-gang size as long as it is 3m or further horizontally from the border between zones 1 & 2.

I guess it is RCD protected? (as we are now in 17th la la land)
