I am planning to build a wooden workshop at the bottom of my garden, approx size 15' x 10' x 7' high.

I need to get an electrical supply to it, I will be only be using hand power tools there, the radio, heater etc. I also wanted to put a strip light in.

Would I have to get a new circuit on my household consumer unit? (There are two blanks in the unit) or can this be ok with an extension lead?

What is the best way to trail the supply to the shed?

Thanks

Glocko :)
