Hello,

Sorry if any of these descriptions are poor, I know little about electrics!

This morning I discovered that all the power (lights, sockets, etc.) weren't working to our detached garage. The house is fine.

There is a circuit breaker for the garage on the main panel inside the house, and that wasn't tripped. I tried flipping it up and down anyway and it made no difference.

In the garage there's two switches on the wall (picture attached). I turned these off then back on and miraculously the power is back on.

I really don't know anything about electrics, can anyone explain what's going on please?

Thanks

Magic, or possible a bit of muck in one of the switches, as to if you need to do anything, I would say it needs all connections testing to see if screws are tight, clearly with power off, it may be a terminal has worked loose.
