I'm thinking about upgrading my current ZANUSSI ZEV6240FBA ceramic hob with an induction one. I'm thinking of going with something like a Neff N70 or similar. However, I'm not 100% sure about the electrics. The requirements on the new hob are, according to the manufacturer:

Connected load: 6.9 KW
• 4.6kW power output (20A); current management options for 16A,
13A or 10A connection: limit the maximum power if needed
(depends on fuse protection of electric installation).

Looking at the plug where the current hob is connected (see picture), it would appear that I'm OK amp-wise (45A). The main circuit breaker is also rated B40, so assume I'm OK there as well - although this is shared with with the oven, which is connected to a standard 13A plug right next to where the hob is connected. (both also controlled by a large red switch next to the kitchen counter).

Where I'm at a bit of a loss is looking at the instructions for the new hob connection (see picture), where it would seem to suggest that, at least in some cases, there should be two distinct L connectors (L1 and L2) coming from the wall - or at least that is what the picture to the right suggests. Or will a single L connector (as per the current connection) work?

Also, should I look for a specific spec for this electric cable?

Thanks!
