Hi

Just wondering the process of emulsioning walls after stripping wallpaper off, the concern really is the residue of paste that may be left on the walls!

Any guidance would be really appreciated.

Many thanks!

A pro...such as meself, would/should wash as they go whilst the walls are still wet. I do a width of about one and a half metres at the top and then the bottom half, working round the room.
You can wet it and use a broad scraper to scrape it off and we've always used a "flat brush" in a sideways scrubbing action to wash it off...you can use a sponge. Sometimes if you look alongside the wall your cleaning, you can see paste that's still left on...wash it off...all of it.
Some folk recommend washing the paste off with sugar soap but I can't see any point in this.
