Encasing pushfit fittings

I'm correct in saying you can't sold encase pushfit fittings as they need to expand for the gran ring to bite in?

Erm nope ... You pressure test the installation to bed in the grab ring, or pull on the fitting a little.

You don't have a push fit joint where you can't ever get to it because it may leak in the future and you may need to get to it at some point. You certainly don't encase it in plaster or 'crete or anything like that.
