Endon Rome Floor lamp

I would like to ask, about the above subject.

The light went out in the top lamp, we tried replacing it with 2 new bulbs we had, neither worked, any ideas why?

Dimmer has failed, or possibly a fuse in the dimmer if it has one (most do not).

Most common problem with linear halogen bulbs is failure to position tube correctly between pins.
You must not touch any part of the glass with bare hand .

Thanks for the replies. With there being 2 lights on this lamp stand, its the top one that isn't working and the bottom one; the reading one is. How can one work and the other doesn't?

As mentioned you may not have the bulb in correctly .

Perhaps a faulty lamp holder.
