ENGINE CUT OUT WHEN HOT

Engine cuts out when at temp when cool will start again is it a fuel safety thing dose not dangerously over heat just get to normal running temp it must be something simple. Any ideas please.

you might consider divulging the make, model, age, mileage and fuel.

And any work or investigation that has already been tried.

Thanks for replying Mercedes smart car and it's petrol cannot come up with anything pump seems ok no red lights just do not no where to start.

Just had new turbo fittered and full service I must say not with Mercedes dealer.
do not know mileage because enquiring for my son.
