I am thinking about getting the engine chipped and want to know if anyone out there has had this done on their car. can they harm your engine ? Can you notice the extra power ? Most modern high performance diesels make dramatic gains from something called a Tuning Box which increases fueling in a controlled manner, and thus exploites the margins left by the manufacturer. They literally just plug and play and you will most certainly notice the extra power!
The alternative is a re-map...

The van Aatken tuning box is the best suited for your car. An intercooler upgrade is worth it too.
