Advice please,
We are building a pier against a wall and a 440 by 350 pillar to support two universal beams. Work starts on Wednesday. Should they be built using concrete blocks or engineering bricks. One side of the pillar needs to be rendered and plastered.
Builder says one thing family member who is an engineer says another. Which would be best?
