I had an ultra sound 2 weeks ago and the lady doing the scan said that had a fatty liver....

My doc rang me to give me the results of the scan...."Oh, all ok with the scan, you have a fatty liver, all ok"...ended call..

Really?

No further investigations?
Woof.

Pleased to hear all is good.

Not sure about kilogrammes, but I went in last August with kidney failure and weighing 12 stone. Didn't take long to drop to 10, and I was on dialysis in ITU.

A week later they told me I have pulmonary fibrosis and it's terminal.

Spent a month in hospital, camera up the bum as they weren't happy with my CT scan and eventually told I have Crohnes disease.

Back home for a couple of weeks then taken in with pneumonia.

Now they want to shove another camera up and look at something else. No chance!

I just want to die quietly and without pain, and in the meantime enjoy posts like this.
 I am sorry

Nor me either.

I have had many UTIs over the last several years.

Over the course of those years, I've had many repeated tests and scans.

Twice I had CT scans.

Twice the report came back:

There's nowt wrong with your urinary tract....

1st time: ...but you have diverticular disease.

2nd time: ...but you have the beginnings of fatty liver disease.

I told the GP to tell the bloody hospital to stop scanning me because they keep finding stuff wrong with me. Apart from what's causing my repeated UTIs...!!

I've just had chocolate ice cream, Santa Domingo or summin from Waitrose, the one in the small pot, the posh one for double the price as the normal one. Nice but not nice nice.
