Concreting in posts is a more involved job and more permanent so I'd like to use 30" steel spikes for erecting a 6 foot fence into soil. Does this sounds sensible and likely to stay upright?
Apart from the question of how long they might last it's surprisingly difficult to drive these spikes in without them drifting off to one side or twisting as they reach stones etc. Fine for quick repairs (IMHO) but NBG for fencing.
